Hilton and Calm, a leading mental health company, have announced an exclusive partnership to address consumers’ increasing preference for wellness. Launching in March, the partnership integrates Calm’s content into Hilton’s proprietary Connected Room Experience technology—providing guests with access to guided meditations, Sleep Stories, calming soundscapes and mindfulness exercises directly from their in-room TV, with no subscription required.
This collaboration comes at a time when the global consumer wellness market has reached $1.8 trillion annually, with the U.S. market growing 10 percent year-over-year to $480 billion, according to the "McKinsey Future of Wellness Report," published in November 2024. Sleep, in particular, is a major focus, with 82 percent of U.S. consumers citing wellness as a top priority and sleep ranking as the second-highest unmet need in health and wellness.
Calm's app for sleep, meditation and relaxation has millions of users worldwide. Its science-backed offerings are designed to reduce stress, improve sleep and enhance mental clarity. This partnership makes wellness resources more accessible to travelers everywhere.
Hilton’s Connected Room technology, available in more than 2,400 hotels globally, enables guests to personalize their stay experience, from controlling room settings to streaming their favorite content. This seamless integration of Calm’s offerings builds on a legacy of innovation, from advancements like Digital Key and Confirmed Connecting Rooms to concepts like Five Feet to Fitness.
