Wave House is welcoming guests as the first high-end condo hotel in the coastal town of El Zonte along El Salvador’s Pacific Ocean coastline. It comprises 19 residential accommodations with in-house kitchens, access to black-sand beaches, dining outlets and world-class surf breaks. Known as “Bitcoin Beach,” El Zonte is located on the Pacific Ocean just one hour from San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador.
Wave House residences range in size between studios to three-bedroom penthouse suites. The studio residences offer ocean views from the balcony or patio, while the two-bedroom residences have a mix of ocean and mountain views from the terrace, bedroom, living room and kitchen. The three-bedroom residences offer with indoor-outdoor living spaces, a private pool, and mountain or oceanfront views.
Each accommodation is fashioned with furniture created by CHWashington Studio, ensuring it is aligned with the property’s hyperlocal identity. While select items were imported from Spain, other pieces were sourced from local vendors, including textiles designed by Lula Mena, a local women-owned brand with a mission to empower women in high risk areas of El Salvador, and pottery crafted by Shicali Ceramics, a non-profit organization employing and creating awareness for those with disabilities.
Further immersing guests in the local culture, the property showcases local artists in the lobby art gallery and has partnered with local chefs to offer fine-dining experiences. Guests can also take advantage of amenities such as an outdoor infinity pool with views of the ocean, a new collaboration with Minibar Miami cocktail bar to enjoy poolside, a 5,000-square-foot rooftop deck with capacity for up to 150 people, rooftop wellness area with jacuzzi and cold plunge, gym, therapy/massage room, concierge service and personalized experience management, as well as a lounge and workspace.
