Riverside Luxury Cruises has introduced a new online education platform and certification program that will help travel advisors gain expertise in the brand’s luxury offerings. Certified advisors will also enjoy special travel advisor rates on FAMS, and those who complete the course by January 31, 2025, will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
The six-part multimedia course is designed to work with all levels of advisor experience, whether new to river cruises or a seasoned pro. The course includes an overview of the brand and the company’s history; a primer on the cruise destinations that Riverside visits; details on the unique onboard experience (including the culinary offerings and level of service); an introduction to the shore excursion program; procedures for seamless bookings of clients; and proven marketing and sales strategies and techniques. Short quizzes at the end of each module focus on the major points that make it easier to sell the cruises.
Completion of the course results in the advisor becoming a certified Riverside specialist and gaining access to TA rates for FAMs. Once they start selling, they will begin earning the line’s generous 18 percent commission, paid monthly.
