Riviera Travel is kicking off 2025 and the arrival of wave season with a full rebrand, including a new brand identity, new bundled travel packages, an expedited travel advisor commission schedule and more. The company also continues its aggressive push to educate the U.S. market on its offerings, drive sales and capture market share.
Effective immediately, Riviera Rivera Cruises has rebranded to Riviera Travel, bringing the river cruise line segment of the business under the same umbrella as the company’s other entities, aligning the company’s U.S. market positioning with its global brand name and creating a unified identity in the luxury travel market.
In addition, Riviera Travel’s new streamlined booking process empowers travel advisors to bundle airfare, transfers and pre- or post-cruise hotel accommodations with the company’s river cruise itineraries. This enhanced system provides travel advisors with a one-stop solution to manage every detail of their clients’ journeys from start to finish. Whether arranging transfers from flights to the ship or adding pre- or post-cruise hotel stays, this new system offers travel advisors greater convenience, flexibility and efficiency, allowing them to deliver a more comprehensive and personalized travel experience to their clients, according to the company.
Travel advisors will also now receive their commission two weeks prior to their clients’ departure dates. An added bonus, the company’s new bundled travel packages are now fully commissionable, offering travel advisors even greater earning potential. Beyond the new commission schedule, Riviera Travel will offer exclusive incentives for travel advisors throughout 2025, including a $50 voucher for bookings of seven nights and a $100 voucher for bookings of 10 nights or more.
New Amenities and Itineraries in 2025
Riviera Travel has also revamped its product offerings, creating more opportunities for the U.S. market to experience Europe’s rivers, as well as adding enhancements to the overall onboard experience. New combination cruises recently launched by Riviera Travel now allow guests to sail for up to 29 consecutive days and a variety of themed itineraries have now been introduced, from “Gastronomy of the Douro” to “Art and History on the Danube.” Lastly, the company plans to introduce new onboard amenities and programming throughout 2025 including a new superior drinks package, as well as some special “surprise and delight” touches inspired by local destinations.
