Frame Hospitality Group has unveiled Frame Hotel – SoCo, its flagship property, officially opening on January 1, 2025. The hotel intends to offer travelers "a serene, boutique retreat" with 20 suites, a counterpoint to the vibrant energy of Austin’s South Congress “SoCo” neighborhood. The company has also announced the debut of its neighboring sister property Frame Hotel – Treehouse, which is located just across the street from Frame Hotel – SoCo.
With its thoughtful design and focus on sustainability, Frame Hotel – SoCo is intended to feel less like a traditional hotel and more like a private retreat. In-room amenities include custom oak built-in furniture, well-equipped kitchenettes, spa-like bathrooms with soft LED lighting and private lanais. The hotel’s keyless check-in system allows guests to bypass traditional front desk interactions, offering effortless arrival and departure. Personalized service is just a text away, with staff ready to handle everything from reservations to bespoke local recommendations.

At the heart of Frame Hotel – SoCo, a koi pond sits below a tiled wall, crowned by a sundial and surrounded by a garden of native plants.
Located across the street is Frame Hotel – Treehouse, which was formerly the Kimber Modern. Prioritizing natural materials and energy-efficient systems, the property has just completed a full renovation of its seven rooms and suites. It now offers a range of boutique amenities.
Together, both properties form a "dual oasis" where guests can transition between vibrant city life and tranquil, private retreat, creating a new category for boutique, luxury lodging in Austin.
