Iberostar Beachfront Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of JOIA Aruba by Iberostar, a Caribbean resort that will serve as a flagship property for the JOIA collection. Located on Eagle Beach, Iberostar’s first property in Aruba will open in January 2025.
Each of its 240 oceanfront suites offers private balconies, terrace Jacuzzis and 24-hour room service. Accommodation highlights include the Gold Rose Flora and Fauna Suites, the Ocean Front Royal Butler Suite and the JOIA Bridal Suite.
Guests will enjoy access to the nearby Iberostar Tierra del Sol Golf Course, the island’s only 18-hole championship course, offering views of the Caribbean Sea on three sides. Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones II, the course also offers a 900-foot ocean-view driving range, greens and chipping area, and the Lookout Bar & Grill for food and beverage options at the turn.
The resort’s culinary offerings include three restaurants and four bars. Guests can start their day with a buffet breakfast at Bucatini Market & Cucina, which also serves as a signature restaurant for dinner offering Italian fare as its specialty. Marea offers modern Caribbean cuisine, while Bone Fire Grill House specializes in grilled fish and meats. In addition to the restaurants, JOIA Aruba will have four bars, including ZIMARooftop Bar with panoramic views, a pool bar and an aqua bar, allowing guests to sip cocktails or mocktails without ever leaving the pool. Coffee and tea lovers will also delight in the hotel’s Star Café offerings.
The Spa at JOIA Aruba will house a hydrotherapy area and seven unique treatment rooms. Guests can enjoy signature massages, revitalizing body and facial treatments, and professional nail and hair services.
JOIA Aruba offers a 10,000-square-foot convention center and multiple areas designed for beachfront celebrations. The resort offers a romantic gazebo for wedding ceremonies and a bridal suite complete with salon stations for the big day. For conferences, the convention center can be divided into five smaller rooms with independent street access, its own lobby and capacity for banquets of up to 400 people.
