Eurobound has crafted a new eight-night independent package for travelers celebrating Italy’s 2025 Jubilee Year, which the Catholic Church observes every 25 years. The new package includes three nights each in Rome and Florence, plus two nights in Bologna, along with a mix of guided and independent touring.
In Rome, the Vatican is the focus of a full day, beginning with a choice of two early morning tours. Eurobound guests can choose from a private half-day tour or a small-group special opening with the Key Master, as he opens the Vatican’s galleries and chapels. A private, afternoon tour of the Papal Basilicas includes the Basilicas of Saint Peter, San Giovanni Laterano, Santa Maria Maggiore and San Paolo Outside the Walls.
Also included in Rome, is a private round-trip hotel transfer to Sant’Anna Church in the Vatican, for Sunday mass in English, as well as a private, half-day tour of ancient Rome with skip-the-line entrance to the Colosseum.
In Bologna, a self-guided walking tour takes Eurobound guests through the Portico di San Luca, the longest archway in the world, up to the hilltop Sanctuary of Our Lady of San Luca. A half-day, small-group, Food Walking Tour offers a light breakfast and a full lunch, with a chance to sample local cheeses, wine, gelato and more. Also provided are entrance fees to the Clock Tower overlooking Piazza Maggiore.
The Florence visit begins with a private, morning walking tour including the Accademia Gallery. A three-day Brunelleschi Pass provides skip-the-line access for independent visits to the Florence Duomo, the Italian Gothic bell tower and the Baptistery, with its Gates of Paradise, as well as the Opera del Duomo Museum and the Basilica of Santa Reparata. The final day is free, with Eurobound-provided suggestions of the best churches to see in Florence.
Included in the price are accommodations at four-star hotels with breakfast, transfers, rail transportation between cities, local tours, and entrance fees in Bologna and Florence.
