Eurobound Unveils New France Destination and Refreshed Website

Eurobound has unveiled a new French itinerary and a refreshed website. The latest addition to Eurobound’s portfolio is Occitanie, a region in the southernmost part of France, stretching from the Mediterranean to the Pyrenees.

The Wonder of Occitanie France” is a new, 10-day land package that offers a choice of customizable hotels and activities. The itinerary begins in Nimes and ends in Lourdes. Included are two nights in Nimes, an overnight in Montpellier and three nights each in Toulouse and Lourdes. The basic package includes accommodations in four- and five-star hotels or chateaux, first-class rail with transfers in Nimes and Montpellier, and a private transfer from Montpellier to Toulouse with a stop in Carcassonne for lunch and sightseeing. Private half-day walking tours in Toulouse and Albi introduce guests to both cities.

In addition to the included private walking tours, Eurobound travelers have the option to choose from independent or privately guided excursions. For instance, from Nimes, a day trip visits the resort area of Le Grau-du-Roi, with its canals and waterways, plus nearby Aigues-Mortes, one of the best-preserved medieval fortresses in France. Travelers can visit on their own or select a private tour.

Guests can also complement their walking tour of Toulouse with an optional river cruise on the Canal du Midi, a visit to La Maison de la Violette or the Airbus factory and Aerospace Museum. Guests can, alternatively, travel from Lourdes to the Pyrenees Mountains on a self-guided basis via a local bus or have Eurobound arrange private excursions to the Pic du Midi at nearly 9,000 feet, and to scenic Gavarnie nature reserve for hiking or sightseeing.

Good to know: Eurobound has also refreshed its website to help travel advisors create tailor-made European trips for their clients. A destination section provides “can’t-miss” sights, experiences and cultural landmarks in each country. For inspiration, the company’s e-mailings containing itinerary suggestions are archived and searchable by destination. A step-by-step booking guide assists travel advisors new to Eurobound in designing their own custom itinerary based on clients’ preferences and budget.
