ALG Vacations (ALGV) has unveiled the dates for its lineup of 2025 events, each designed to support travel advisors and foster professional growth through education, networking and hands-on destination immersion.
ALGV’s flagship event, the 2025 Ascend Conference, is set to take place from October 15–18 in Cancun, Mexico. The event includes general sessions led by keynote speakers, workshops covering a variety of topics ranging from professional development and ALGV training to personal wellness and kindness, and a showcase of travel suppliers.
Building on the success of its debut in 2024, ALGV’s MegaFAMs (Pros on the Go) program is returning with three opportunities in 2025: Cancun (June 23–27), Los Cabos (July 7–11) and Punta Cana (September 8–12). Replacing the traditional escorted FAMs, MegaFAMs provide a more extensive and impactful experience. Approximately 150 travel advisors per MegaFAM will stay at multiple resorts, tour destinations via a round-robin schedule, and participate in excursions, a giveback activity and a full day of professional development. This program combines education with immersive destination exposure.
ALGV’s Kindness Conference and Kindness Connection will return July 21–25. These events highlight the importance of fostering kindness within the travel industry. Advisors will cultivate a network of like-minded travel professionals, collaborating to achieve greater success and fulfillment in their careers. Hosted at Secrets & Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, these gatherings convene next-generation advisors and seasoned veterans to focus on personal well-being, professional development, community impact and the promotion of responsible travel.
Reserved for its highest-achieving agencies, agency owners and advisors, ALGV’s Elite Account events recognize and reward agencies and advisors for their exceptional performance. The 2025 lineup includes: Elite Emerald at Dreams Natura Resort & Spa (May 14–17); Elite Sapphire at Secrets Bahia Mita & Dreams Bahia Mita (June 2–5); WAVEMAKER at Dreams Sapphire Indigo Club (August 3–6); and Elite Diamond at Secrets Playa Esmeralda & Dreams Playa Esmeralda (November 19–23).
