Travel Experts has created and launched an Independent Contractor Travel Advisory Board. The newly formed Advisory Board held its inaugural meeting on January 6-7, 2025, at the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, NC. During the meeting, the members of the advisory board engaged in discussions on topics such as technology advancements, client service innovations and strategies for navigating the ever-changing landscape of global travel. Attendees also had the opportunity to network and build stronger connections within the Travel Experts community.
“The establishment of this Travel Experts Advisory Board represents a significant step forward in our mission to empower independent travel advisors,” said Sharon Fake, executive director of Travel Experts. “By providing a platform for open dialogue and collaboration, we aim to ensure that the voices of our advisors are heard and that we continue to meet their evolving needs,” she added.
The two-day event brought together a diverse group of experienced independent travel advisors from across the country to share insights, discuss industry trends, and explore strategies to enhance support for all independent contractors affiliated with Travel Experts.
